I'm confused on traffice rankings on these 'watch ranking sites'.

http://www.watchtalkforums.info is rated #5 on one of them, and #59 on another. (go to the footer on the homepage)

There is such a large disparity between the two rankings. Yet for me, http://www.longislandwatch.com, all my rankings on all the sites tend to 'correspond' with each other.

Anybody know why the big disparity? I've checked alexa.com and can't seem to get to the bottom of it.

TIA -

Marc

I've wondered the same thing, Marc.  I suspect each uses different methods (somewhat) to collect their data, perhaps even basing it on different time spans.  In other words, I don't have a clue!

I just checked the three rankings for my site: 82; 162; and 277.  Go figure!
