Hey everyone, I've recently been helplessly sucked into this crazy hobby. My first interest has been pilot style watches but now I'm itching for a more utilitarian dive watch. Initially I was drawn to the Marathon GSAR for it's tank-like construction... but perhaps a bit too tank-like. Which led me here. And you guys have unknowingly pointed me in the direction of several beautiful watches and now I can't decide. I was hoping i might be able to get a little help narrowing down my options (and possibly get a few more suggestions). the GSAR is still in the running I LOVE the Dievas Vortex and Focal TaWaTec Titan I'm looking for a solid everyday kind of watch that I shouldn't worry too much about actually using for all kinds of activities. I really like the tritium vials in the GSAR and TaWaTec (overkill sure), I seem to like a larger milled bezel, Automatic movement, and I'd love a date window (my one hesitation about the Vortex) and if at all possible I'd like to stick as close to or under the 1K mark. Anybody have any good/bad points about any of these or suggestions that may fit in the same boat? Thanks guys, I look forward to hearing from you and I'll certainly show off whatever I get!
