Hi 3T. Introducing my new arrival and my first ever dive into the house of Tudor..........the BLACK BAY!!! I bought it in my home zone 2 days ago as I couldn't shake off the itch. Here are some pics. It came with an extra zulu with a buckle that resembles the upper outline of the Tudor shield.![]() ![]() Up close and personal ![]() Some wrist shots ![]() ![]() With his older cousin ![]() A size comparison with my Sub TT (it's 41mm vs the 40mm of the Sb TT) ![]() Check out the beautiful sidewall of the bezel and the notable work on the links ![]() With 3 links removed, it weighs 162 grams. The Sub TT on the other hand, weighs about 151 grams, with 2 links. It doesn't have a Glidelock clasp, though. ![]() While at the AD with my son, we also checked out the new 114060 C. That's another excellent piece. They are all shown below for size comparison. ![]() Why I shot down the BB? It's just the right size and heft, has a unique feature (bezel color), amazing dial and indexes plus I couldn't sleep thinking of it the first time I saw it at the AD. (I'm sure the Sheriff will have an A.P.B. on me for doing this) Best of all, it's from a great house with a re-issue well worth adding to a collection. Thanks for looking.
