Looking great! But from what I know, those deck watches or Marine chronometers was built to calculate the longitude and exact position of the ship.
So they had to be very precise: As COSC chronometers or better.
Or the position calculated was wrong.
That's why those mechanical modern deck chronometers are expensive.
I don't think that a usual 6498 movement would be up to this challenge.
I saw flair spokes on the balance but nothing else fancy
