Within a week of corresponding with Anders through email, I pulled the trigger and purchased one from him. Anders is good with replying to emails very promptly. Last week I received my Vintage in a highly protective watch case and I have been wearing it everyday since. I think it is a beautifully manufactured watch for its price, the movement finish is really beautiful. The leather strap on the watch is excellent, I am in no hurry to change it to something else. I look forward to visiting Anders retail location when I fly to Singapore next time on business to check out croc straps that would fit the watch.
Even though this brand is new to me and not as big as the major luxury watch brands with their worldwide service networks, I believe if I ever need my Vintage serviced I can count on Anders to be there to help. I look forward to years of enjoyment wearing this watch and collecting other such fairly priced well made timepieces in the future.
I think it is amazing that the internet has enabled entreprenuers like Anders and other brands like Stowa to profitably make and sell watches at such fair prices by saving on traditional marketing expenses and retail channel expenses, and benefit from good word of mouth. I would have never came across this watch without all of you taking your time to write about this watch and brand so thank you all.
