the quartz in the Accutron is not thermocompensated,and called a hi-efficency rather than SuperQuartz...a better comparison would be the OysterQuartz that Rolex produced in a limited quantity that I balked at buying for $2500. 7 years ago and now goes upward of $7000. if you can find one....what sets the Breitling apart from others is that it is a chronograph,and that the chrono function can be used underwater to depths of 2000m.ThumbsUp02.gif
