Considering the history of G.P: Traced back to 1791 and already presenting a tourbillon in 1867 who would evolve to be the 3 bridges masterpiece in 1889 and be later declared "out of competition" from 1900 because of the supremacy they had on international exhibitions...(here I take facts from them home-side and resume)
It's kind of surprising that in 2002, they take a turn to a monster 3000m diver, pushing the tradition to meet advanced technology: Compared to other similar houses staying much more traditional in design and size.
I guess that G.P want to signalize that even they are among the oldest horology houses in the world, they are still young and innovative in the spirit.
The Sea-Hawk adventure seems to have just began and I guess that this number 3 will be full of cool surprises...
