I'm sure you know where this is headed...wind the watch, start the chrono and sure enough the minute counter still doesn't work
So the bimbet who handled it was confused, she says we checked the subdial at 9...running seconds
and it works fine. Honey, the minute counter is at 12
Well, the owner came by to say hello and I explained the issue to him, he kindly agreed to send it back to Tissot and fix it under warranty
though as he said they are notoriously slow.The good news and the main reason I took it their instead of my watchmaker Eric was they also located the bracelet for it and are selling it to me at 40% off the $166 list.
Ok, rant over. The main point is these clowns at most jewelery stores have no idea about watches, they just stand behind a counter and hope the Rolexes, Breitlings and Tags, sell themselves via their reputation.
