Got a call that my Tissot was fixed from the AD and jeweler who I've known for 20 years...great, need to pick up some Pandora charms for my daughter anyway....

I'm sure you know where this is headed...wind the watch, start the chrono and sure enough the minute counter still doesn't workmistake.gif So the bimbet who handled it was confused, she says we checked the subdial at 9...running secondscrazy.gif and it works fine. Honey, the minute counter is at 12whichone.gif

Well, the owner came by to say hello and I explained the issue to him, he kindly agreed to send it back to Tissot and fix it under warranty thumbsup.gif though as he said they are notoriously slow.

The good news and the main reason I took it their instead of my watchmaker Eric was they also located the bracelet for it and are selling it to me at 40% off the $166 list.Thumbsup3.gif

Ok, rant over. The main point is these clowns at most jewelery stores have no idea about watches, they just stand behind a counter and hope the Rolexes, Breitlings and Tags, sell themselves via their reputation.
