The black Speedy... Well, I'm not so into PVD,ceramic and all the black stuff.
I like better the steel model.

If we should speak high $ and innovation: Here's what I liked.
The Constant Escapement from Girard-Perregaux.
Technically speaking, it's a major achievement in watchmaking: The idea is simple but concretizing it is another thing as usual.
It's nice that G.P went all in to make this milestone a reality, showing one more time that they are among the greatest ever.
It's all explained in the link under.
Beware! Hypnotizing videos inside: If you have 100K$ to use on a watch, they will burn instantly your pockets.

"This Hublot isn't much what I'd dream of Chris...Looks like a Ferrari engine..." Yes Will, I think that's the point of this one...chickendance.gif...this one was developed in collaboration with Ferrari. I've been into cars even longer than watches, and have loved every Ferrari I've gotten the opportunity to drive, so this one hits me with a 1-2 punch. With 50 days of power reserve, I don't think you will need to carry the winding/setting tool in your back pocket my friend!subtlelaugh.gif

Love the GP and the innovative constant force escapement that they've developed in this calibre!!!thumbsup.gif Like you, I have a lot of love for the GP brand and heritage. Great video link! I will definitely have to add something from the GP brand some day (likely NOT this one that you posted...as I expect it will be the Seahawk II as that continues to be my favorite from the brand).

Keep 'um coming guys...any other thoughts (good or bad) on the BaselWorld 2013 reveal?
