The CuSn8 has a high copper content: It gives a nice reddish color. This bronze alloy is known first of all because Anonimo and Panerai used it with success through time since the patina don't turn to an ugly grey-brown like other alloys: It keeps a nice vintage look with a warm feel in the tones. Olivier used another alloy which should have been good but the patina turned like crap: Let's be honest. I'm not a bronze fanatic at all and I'm still not mesmerized by it. It's cool but for me it's just a craze of the moment: I will wait and see. But if I had to choose, I would go for the CuSn8: Because of the reddish warm tone.
