Well im not a huge TAG fan either. There are only 2-3 TAG´s that i actually like, but they are all old watches. Just want to put this out there: Im not buying watches because im looking for a future investment. I dont care if it has a Swiss or Japanese movement, just as long as they are accurate for a normal everyday use. Also i must disagree with my Scandinavian neighbor. F1 and motorsport means alot for watches. Do you believe Rolex choose to be the mainsponsor for F1 just for fun? Many watchbrands have a rigorous past sponsoring in a variety of motorsports. Why? Because they sell more watches. :) A good example would be the TAG Heuer Monaco "Steve McQueen Edition". Dont take this the wrong way. I just dont agree with your way of shooting F1 down as nonsense. Would you buy a Rolex if they where Levis Jeans mainsponsor, and designed a "Denim 501 Limited Edition"? ![]() However, i can of course agree that F1 has not much in common with watches per sé. Just carbon, ceramic and a few other precious and rare metals. ;) But yes, Senna or Schumacher does not make a difference unless one is a fan. Only MS fans buy the Omega Speedmaster Micheal Schumacher Edition. I would not spend my money on it since im not a fan. You all have a good weekend! :)
