Thanks Hammer! I started looking for a Fricker cased diver and decided on the Rasmus, because other Fricker models like the AlphaTime Sawfish, the Jacques Etoile equivalent, the Kremke Subzilla and others were simply no longer available, or they just didn't "hit the spot". There are many fine details on the Rasmus which set it apart, not least of which is the crown at 4 and the 1000m rating, nipples on the bezel, great lume, bracelet end links matching the bevels on the lugs, ETA movement (in this one, some later models have the Sellita), and the fit and finish of the watch, generally. There is nothing to dislike, IMHO, and I am even finding that the beadblasted finish is a welcome change from the "bling" of some of my other timepieces. It just sits there and does its job without any fuss - exactly as I like it! Thanks for all the kind comments, gents, I am very glad that y'all like it. And Hammer is right - it sure is a tough looking little bugger! <<<<< new Avatar to celebrate! Last edited on Tue Oct 29th, 2013 12:02 am by IanM |
