The 2836-2 is a movement made by ETA which is owned by Swatch-Group as well as many watch brands: Breguet, Harry Winston, Blancpain, Glashütte Original, Jaquet Droz, Léon Hatot, Omega, Longines, Rado, Union Glashütte, Tissot, Balmain, Certina, Mido, Hamilton, Calvin Klein watches + jewelry, Swatch, Flik Flak.
The 2836-2 is the most used day-date movement in mid-range watches and is very sturdy.
Here´s a quick review I picked for you: The ETA 2836-2 movement is essentially the basic ETA 2824 with the addition of day-date functionality. The day change is also quicker on the Eta 2836-2, it’s considered instantaneous vs pseudo-instantaneous. The movement itself is also slightly higher due to the date wheel, than the 2824. Other than that they are very similar movements.

Thank you Will! I appreciate the help. ThumbsUp02.gif

I can confirm that the day-date change is instantaneous. At 23:55 i hear a click and it has changed over.
