Thanks gents!

I really wanted to see the movement with my own eyes up close. Seen many photos of it on the net, but its very different when one can hold it with your own hands under a magnifying glass.

That red fiber did not worry me since it was not caught up inside the cogs. But it sure took me by surprise when i found it. The previous owner might have left it there. He might have done like me. Wanted to see the movement and opened up the case on his own.

The watch was fully serviced in 2011, so its not too far off in the future before its time for another one. Omega recommends having it done every 4-5 year if the watch is used daily, and its has definitely been used every day.
