D.Mink was at one time a very High End Watch Company ...a few years ago Daniel Mink ....(not to be mistaken for Dan Mink of Renato..(not sure if he is a son..Minkowiczs is the real last name) was sold to the 2 men who ran the financial/production end of the business....I have seen the Watch which is on clearance at the local TJ's here for $360.....Ken owns one and can give a more detailed review...at $360. it is a sweet watch...at $800.....Pass!hand6.gif

That brings up a question for you guys. Perhaps I am naive, possible, but I had never heard of Daniel Mink watches before my recent fruitless forays into TJMaxx stores. They have a Chrono (VERY heavy) with what looks like a 7750 movement that had a list price attached of $2999 selling for $999 when I first visited. Approx. 10 days later it was $800. First, is this pricing typical at TJMaxx? Second, is this a great watch or just a name on someone elses product?
