It's only "authorized" because they don't use copyrighted text anywhere or some bullshit like that.Welcome aboard Steve Smart...no confusion, this was sarcasm as written by my friend Martin on FB...simply pointing out that this company Royal Custom was trying to fool unknowing watch enthusiasts into believing they were authorized to replicate Rolex(even make them better lol)...it was simple for all of us to see they were cheap replicas by following the link:https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/royalcustom/worlds-first-authorized-replica-watches furthermore Royal Custom somehow was showing some well know collectors, magazine publishers and bloggers unbeknownst to them as "friends" on their FB page in what might have been an attempt to make RC look legit! ![]() ie: "On a side note; they also operate the Facebook page Royal Custom Wacthes which has strangely a lot of likes from people with exquisite taste in real watches, including myself. I know for sure that I have never liked this page and I expect that people like Geo Cramer, Gerard Nijenbrinks, Jonathan Kopp, Roberta Naas, Randy Torres, Robert-Jan Broer, Clarence Andrew Thompson, Ben Alon Ben Joseph, Andreas S. Gregoriades, Alan C Bloore, Angus Davies, Ariel Adams, Bart Grönefeld, Benjamin Clymer, Frank Geelen, Hororgasm Tan, Ian Skellern, and many more, did neither. Just so you know, since I couldn't fight the urge to hit the "unlike"-button and I can image neither can you! "
