These appear to be a true 4 o-clock crown build so the new turtles won't swap in without day/date wheels from an older 4 o-clock crown model like 6306/9 or 7002/9 with the correct crown position if the parts will fit the newer seiko's... I have never tried. one of the core seiko nuts over on SCWF would know!

The crown cutout does need a round cut in that case rather than a notch but the prototyping is coming along well...


There was a small "one off" run of exact reproductions of the new turtle case in bronze done over there on SCWF too, might be a better solution than this case for new turtle swaps...
