Happy 4th! new Borealis today!

Congrats on the new arrival Chris! thumbsup.gif

How do you like it?

It's a very well executed homage, bezel action is crisp, tight, and nicely aligned. The oversized crown is easy to operate and smooth, finish is perfect, the caseback is nicely done text is crisp and legible the mermaid logo is cleanly etched instead of a coin stamp style that is popular right now. It's a darker blue than the early images on the website make it appear which is actually better as far as I am concerned. Everything about it ticks the vintage Seamaster box dead center.

This is the first 9015 I have seen that needs a little adjustment for beat error and speed, all the others I have arrived running like a swiss watch is supposed to ;) It's still well within spec though and with an amplitude of 318 it could power a jackhammer too!

I'll have to make a bracelet for it, president style links with a diver clasp should complete the vintage diver look...

I suppose it's worthy of a new arrival thread, I'll take some more pictures when I get ambitious and post it there...
