Tony...you are not looking at true etas...they have eta Ebauches(stamped base plates) but the parts are asian...this is why ETA does not want to sell their ebauches anymore....it has given them a bad nameface4.gif Last night on TT/SAH the Balmers were Awesome with their own in house Swiss movement made by an ex-Patek watchnaker...very nice!hand6.gif
Any thoughts or opinions on what the future holds for value on ETA based watches???
The reason I ask is, do you feel they will be a worthy investment, or will the brand surrounding them still be the key?
I've noticed some steals on ETA based watches on Slop from Croton and a few from Android which can be had for less than $150. Will the future make the movements worth way more than that, hence...a viable investment?
Thoughts?
