Another Brand using their own in-house Swiss movement is Balmer which are sold on SAH by Tim Temple...I had a chance to speak with both Tim/SAH and John House who is a partner in this manufacturer with a ex-Patek Philipe Watchmaker who produces the movements...what is unique to the Balmer Wacthes besides their own Swiss Movements(link attached) is that they have complications..day/date/gmt etc. and instead of pushers to set them the Crown/Winding stem pulls out to 4 positions and all the complications can be set with the Crown alone...pretty cool imo!cool10.gif

Thanks Oscar - that was a good read. So, the patents fell into the public domain and these are essentially Eta designs. There was no mention, odd, of quality regarding these movements. Design is terrific but so are materials, finish, QC, etc.
