I'm talking about this year, since I've only been around a decade before the Gulf war :D The Badgers, should have been #1 a couple months ago..
Tomorrow's game between the Badgers and the Buckeyes will be a big statement for whatever team wins. Either way, it's all about the big dance!
Sure.............and as last year's NCAA Champs and a this year's pre-season #1 pick and as the "single" holder of the #1 slot for #1 for the majority of the season, I can understand why the Gators have no credibility. :D
If the Badgers had been #1 earlier in the season, they could have lost there very 1st game at that position much earlier. Well, the good news is that they will only be knocked out of #1 on one poll........'cause it was a "shared" #1 slot!!!!!happy1.gif
In all seriouseness, I am looking forward to the tournament. Of course it would be great (to me) if the Gators would repeat, but that is relatively unheard of............I guess after a B'ball and a F'ball National Championship in the same year, that would be greedy of me!:D:D:D:D:D
