 Gotta agree with Oscar on the Seiko Monsters for very low end auto beaters and high end look.  It might help if we knew a orice range that you considered lowere end.

And, I do no believe the average Homeowner's Policy will cover watches as the are considered jewelry under most insurance terms....they must be placed, individually, on a rider to the policy.  Some policies do have a heneral jewelry clause that will cover up to +/- $4k not to exceed $1k on any individual item (less deductible).
