 No worries... you haven't spoiled my enjoyment of the watch one iota. I had never noticed the gloop before and most likely won't again.

 

If it does begin to bug me I may look at having it taken care of but as I sit today, I don't see it as being "required".

Wonder if the d. freemont site will remove the link to my pix??
