 Ken,

Forget going to Michaels. Go to a Photo/Camera store instead. They generally have them for viewing slides, photos, etc. You have a much better shot there. Plus, they should know what you want when you ask for a lumiloupe. The come in 7X through 10X usually. $8 to $12 generally.
