Christian....I own 2 Glycines, a vintage 1964 Airman that has been through hell and back and a new Glycine Airman 2000.  The vintage is running every bit as well today as it did in 1964.  I have held the Seiko MM and even worn one for a few days as it passed thru me on its way to Greece.  It is a very solid, well built watch, but from and aesthetics standpoint, is not much different than any other Seiko Diver.

Bottom line....go for the Glycine!  BTW, have you seen the brand new Glycine Combat Sub Automatic...it is a beauty!
