Because:
1. You bang them w/o feeling pain.
2. If it spoills, buy another one.
3. It runs as good as your high end watches(in some cases, they run better), but basically tells you the same thing : TIME.
4. You buy them, you can still have some money for other things as they don't burn a big hole in your pocket!
5. You can buy more of this range watches instead of sticking to one high end watch.
6. Cos of #5, you have more watches to wear and suit your daily various activities.
7. If you don't like them, you can sell them easier than high end watches and also won't lose much $$$.
8. Your wife or your husband won't be mad at you cos you spend wisely, thus you can buy MORE watches!
9. If your children or love ones like them, you can take it off yourwirst and give them as gifts anytime.
10. Go back to #1.
