Does anyone know the name of the "much larger watch-company" that essentially forced Steinhart to change its name to Debaufre in order to avoid litigation? On their website, Steinhart/Debaufre suggests that its name and logo were too close to that of another watch company which threatened to sue. I have been wracking my brain, but have not been able to figure out what company is being alluded to. Does anyone know who it may have been? P.S. I too have been bitten by the Mach 1 bug. One in black is on the way to me as well. I understand that Steinhart watches are held in high regard by others who have purchased them in the past. I hope the Mach 1 lives up to my expectations.
