Good question Monster...I can't see any similarities to the old Steinhart logo to any other with the exception it has a crown over the S and we all know who uses the crown but a simple logo change would have fixed that :) maybe it may have been a family name infringement of someone known in the watch biz  I have read several accounts that Steinhart and Grovana/Revue Thommen were all the same as well as Robert Watches who's watches bare distict similarities ...maybe Avery has some input
