you will have more $ tied up in the bracelet and having it PVD'd than in the watch Glock and more than likely the coatings will not match as the Seiko5 uses a ip plating ( $595. is the base price to PVD a watch case alone)..... it would be less expensive to just spend a little more on another Seiko w/a better bracelet like a Seiko Monster / Samurai and just put a strap on the Seiko5 imho...here is a link w/step by step instructions on how to remove a bracelet Buddy :) http://www.geocities.com/watch_crazy/bands/remove/remove.htm
