 Part of today's Pink Flamingo festivites included  a helicopter drop of pink ping-pong balls with coupons for prizes affixed. This after a 5K run and parade this morning, and a full day of slo-pitch.

Needless to say I joined the fray. I purt near lost my kids in the melee as the chopper dropped thousands of pink balls upon us. A couple ducats in prizes and toys later it was dinner time. A brat for Dad, burger for Mom, hot dog for son and fries a plenty which baby girl just tore up and my wallet was $6.50 lighter. Talk about Americana!! I had to have an ear of roasted sweet corn on the way out...
