So Ken... where do you stand on the old argument about Chrono function?

You hear both ways whether you should leave the Chrono sub hands running 24/7... or only start em up when ya need em.  Both sides swear their way is easier on the movement.  Can't both be right?!

Anybody have "the answer" ?

I think it's a matter of what you want...I have some with no seconds subdial...now I am not a COSC accuracy freak..so I don't really care.  Using the Chrono function 24/7 will reduce the hours of power reserve, but so what?  And then I guess there is the old wear & tear argument......The only manufacturer I have seen with a position is Poljot, which recommends against full time us!

Bottom line...sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't.  Usually I just check to see if everything is working.  There are a few things I time, but not many!
