I really enjoy reading this food forum. I don't see much about wine here though. I really thought I would see more. As everyone here one of my hobbies are watches. My other passion is winemaking. I am very active in a few winemaking forums and moderate at a couple. I love big dry red wines and am particular toward Italian wines. I make everything though from White Zin, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, etc. to Country Fruit wines such as raspberry, blueberry, Muscadine as well as Meads.

Does anyone else here make their own wine? I make mostly kits and country wines from fresh fruits. Some of the kits I have made would rival any commercial wines that can be bought. I am getting ready to move into beer making to add to my hobby list. If you don't have anything better to do feel free to look at this tutorial I made for one of the forums I moderate on how to make wine from a kit and get a chuckle. I had a great time putting it together. It kind of lost its format though when they archived it. Just thought I would throw this out there to try to contribute to the forum.
