Hi Steve There a a few Jeeps here for sale - I follow them a little because my father and uncle were servicemen and they get nostalgic. And of course, with so much red dirt and unsettled land in the centre of Australia, they dream of being able to "go bush" in something that is inbreakable. Prices here for good WWII Jeeps vary a lot, but a reasonable one in "as last used" condition is going to set you back about $15000 AUD. Project cars come in a lot less than that. Time warp ones can go as high as $25000 AUD. The experience of driving "on the wrong side of the road" :) is certainly weird - but only until you get used to it. It took me a day or two to get my brain to recognise that I was not just on the wrong side of the car, I was on the other side of the road. If you drive a RHD car in a LHD country, it is MUCH easier to come to terms with. Interestingly, in Western Australia we can register and drive LHD cars without the need to convert them. I have driven a few LHD cars on our roads here and it is easy - but off-putting when you are on the left hand side of the car, and the kerb is just outside your window... Jeeps occasionally appear here - here is a link to one available now for about 10K AUD - and it is LHD! If the link doesn't work - go to: http://www.carsales.com.au , private seller , and in the search engine keyword just put in "1941". And if you want a hand looking for anything like that here - please advise and I am happy to assist. Have a terrific day! IanM
