 Hiya Steve - if he was talking about my watch, then, same as yours - the red button is nothing more than a bezel lock - correctomundo. Depress the button, turn the bezel and then let go - all done.

Sorry to confuse - I read thru the LM-7 forum and got the impression that for theirs it is supposed to be a helium release. It is probably me...
