I have the Sub 600 Divingstar, same size as the 1000T and am a little disappointed with the size. The Sub 750T is perfect for me in every way. I really bought the Sub 600 for the wife to wear but it looks too big on her wrist and she won't wear it and since I got her Tudor Ladies Hydronaut dive watch serviced she won't take it off. When I wore the Divingstar one time it just looked too small for me. It sure is a beautiful watch though. Too bad I will rarely wear it. Maybe my tastes will change someday and if I still have it I can give it the wrist time it truly deserves.
