Wow, I won something! Glad you all like the lume shot - now that I know how to do it, I will try to do some more with some of my other watches, and if I am feeling very ambitious, a combined lume shot from a collection of watches!
As for the Orient - it is simply outstanding - the construction is flawless, except for a black dot inside the lume triangle on the bezel. But thats nitpicking. Accuracy is spot on, +1s a day at most over the week or so I've had the watch. Its a fast winder too, just an hour on the wrist doing desk work and its on full charge (oddly walking around with it on doesn't seem to charge it as quickly, so I think whatever Orient did, it works well for us desk divers). Lume as you can see is fantastic. I'd say its about equal to Seiko's Lumibrite (its probably the same compound), and a tad better than Swiss Superluminova (and lightyears better than Asian dials with generic luminova or superluminova). Bracelet is very comfortable and has a ratcheting clasp in addition to the usual microadjustments. Wish it used screws though - those pins and collars are not hard to use, but I keep losing the collars on these setups. Overall, I'd put the quality and construction of the Orient easily on par with my DOXAs and Omegas.
