Besides being an IDIOT!   I think #1 #2 and #3  is where most of us start out and fall into one of those categories early on with the end result hopefully being #4 which takes an amount of time and research which leads to experience like any other hobby or life experience  Enjoying the hobby is most important to me and researching movements and brand history have become as much a part of the hobby as owning watches...and of course meeting new WIS from around the World many of which have become lifelong friendsyourock.gif Price does not always mean value as there are many watches to be had at reasonable prices that meet criteria #4...it's the hunt!
