Hi-Fi and electronics and music and computers and Zippos and model trains. Three full hi-fi systems in our house, one on each floor, 2 of which are surround systems. The main system in our living room has equipment and speakers that I built from kits or scratch. We have 7 computers, one runs our home automation system. I have 2 sets of drums, 3 electric guitars and amps plus a small PA system/microphones. I have been playing a lot more gigs than usual lately.
You guys know about my Zippos ;)
My sons and I are building an HO train layout in the basement, freelanced with as many Pennsylvania railroads as we can fit, primarily steam but a few diesel/electrics too. It is slow going, there is only so much time in the day, but the benchwork is done, the roadbed, track and ballast is down, and about half the wiring. Plus we have built some freight car kits and buildings.
My favorite thing to do though is build Pinewood Derby cars with the Cub Scouts. It takes me back to when I was a kid building model kits, but since they are from scratch it really is a challenge to make a block of wood look like a real car and run well on the track. I only have 2 years left until my younger son moves on to Boy Scouts and they don't have derbies :X
I'll have to turn "pro" and enter WIRL (Woodcar Independent Racing League) races. yourock.gif
