Hiya Mike

With no disrespect whatsoever to anyone who reads this, IMHO only!

Nope, no special requirement to preorder a Monstrum - other than finding the place (here) to get one, as far as I can see. Monstrums are not limited editions. Listers on preorder do not get cheaper prices than the general public will pay later. Cost to listers is the same as for the general retail public. But preorders like the ones on this forum are necessary for companies like Orsa to gauge the likelihood and effectiveness of going into production. I have never seen anyone who occasionally posts here on 3T "refused" - rather they have all been welcomed to the blue Monstrum preorder list and made to feel like they are part of the bigger family. As for not selling a watch to a person who hasn't posted enough messages on a particular forum - my humble opinion is that LE's and forum-specific models are always sold to a select few, and it has never bothered me (unless I have been too slow, or haven't had the spare cash to proceed at the time!) The Monstrum is different - it isn't an LE or forum-specific, and it will be released in a multitude of coloured dial models to suit all tastes. If you want one - than I reckon that, with patience, you will get it and others like it in any other colour you want. It doesn't look like any genuine buyers will miss out - and you can't get much better than that! You are on exactly the same list as we all are, at present.

Berg from Orsa and every one of the other guys I have spoken with/written to for help/followed up with on this forum have been welcoming, professional, honest, and generous with their information. That makes the way in which sales of the Monstrum are now being consucted, pretty fair IMHO.

Rock on guys, I am still waiting and still excited about the Monstrum - for no reason other than enjoying being one of the first.

Cheers! IanM
