Important thing is just to take it slowly and trim a little at a time. Can't put it back if you cut off too much!

As anal as I am about details I've always used a single-sided razor blade to trim these (gives you a nearly "factory" edge). But scissors, wire cutters, etc will do fine as well. Important thing is just to take it slowly and trim a little at a time. Can't put it back if you cut off too much!
