Hi 3Ters

I have a problem and I am hoping for a bit of help please.

I want to buy 2 x Omega mesh bracelets - one 22mm and one 24mm. Standard lengths seem to be 165 to 175mm (minimum) for these NOS bracelets - but that is the issue. My wrist is 170mm. Total. The target watches I intend to use them on are between 40 and 50mm lug to lug. If you do the math - I have a poopload of extra mesh there... I understand that the pin holes on the clasp end will give me about 18mm of play.

My question - has anyone shortened an NOS Omega mesh bracelet before, and was it successful? Any clues on how to, who to, or why I should or shouldn't do it? Do I have to give it to an Omega AD and get them to do the work of removing rows of mesh-links?

I am gonna get one of these Omega mesh's if it kills me, and I am open to your suggestions on everything except the brand!

Hope you all can set me straight, and I figure that if anyone can help - you guys can. Thank you!! IanMThumbsUp02.gif
