That's TonyD with His Girlfriend Carla,and Myself....Our Flights were Delayed because of a Snowstorm in Chicago...and After a Few Cocktails ..Sleep was In Order
Saturday was the Big Day...Randy and Greg Picked us Up (sorry no pics....many were lost)and it Was Off to Smart Jewelers ! The Zenith Display Caught Everyones Attention..and Glen Purchased a Air Boss...From Howard
After Spending an Hour or So at Smarts we were Off to the Yard House for Lunch...a New Resteraunt with 112 Beers on Draft...needless to Say No Pics
The Highlight of the Day was at the Cigar King...and Institution in Skokie!
Jordan(owner) pictured Here with Tony was a True WIS and Opened Up his Display Cabinets for Our Inspection.....Cigars and Single Malt Scotch Provided by Jordan Was a Pleasure as we ooogled His Fine Collection of Timepieces !
The Cigar King Was Huge with Walls of Cigars and Accessories from Around The World...Rows of Recliners Were Perched in Front of Two Big Screens as Patrons Enjoyed the Playoff Games with a Good Smoke!
While We Were Being Given a Tour of Watches,Like this Dubey and Schauldebrand...a Real Beauty!
Reggie One of the Hosts at the Cigar King was Wearing a OGII of All Things,Jordan a Classic Speedmaster!All in All The Cigar King was KING ! afer a Couple of Hours it was Back to Our Hotel to get Ready for a Night on the Town ! Carmines was our Destination another Landmark in Downtown Chicago...
Needless to say the Place Was Packed to the Gills! So it was Off to The Lounge for a couple Libations while Waiting to be Seated!
