The very largest watch I own is a Russian Poljot Aviator at 45mm. I can't see myself ever buying or wearing anything larger than 45mm. The sweet-spot size for me is 42-43mm.

Maybe it is the fact that the population is getting bigger with each new generation that watches are growing too. I dunno. But, 50+mm does seem to be way too big for some of us.
