I think the comparison to Ocean 7 is a valid one. I would bet that the Korsbek will be a better quality piece (if fricker is doing the entire piece and assembly) ... for a better price with bracelet... but that still doesn't mean it does anything for me... As for the Ocean 7 prices without bracelet... IF I was to get one.. it most certainly would be pre-owned. But Ocean 7 dials are too plain looking to me especially for the prices they charge (the dials are just cheap looking).. reminds me of the Bill Yao Dials that you can drop in most seiko's and eta 2824's installed $50 range... I will say the LM3 blue has some appeal for its unique color, although drawbacks are a small dial and average lume (which is a no no for me in a dive watch) . Bathys another company that amazingly is selling their watches for amounts that I find surprising folks are willing to pay ... Mother of Pearl Diver? I thought Invicta had the market cornered on that? As for my Triton comparison, it was simply that... it certainly is not more "toolish"... simply to my eye I think it looks better.. with that said I am positive that it shouldn't be as good of quality though as the Korsbek. I certainly would agree that anything made by Fricker is going to blow the doors off a Steinhart... I do look forward to seeing some on the used market... as at the right price I certainly would like to handle one in person.
