Thank You guys for your input. Now we have a better idea.
I know a lot of people voted for the Swiss Mechanical movements.
But here is a scenario.
For example our tritium watches. Will you prefer.
1) Swiss quartz at $300
2) Swiss Auto at $500
3) Japan Auto at $350

I'm in the minority here. I would actually prefer the $300 quartz with say a 10 year battery for a tritium watch. Or, I'd go for the $500 Swiss Auto.
I like the convenience of the quartz with the gas tubes under $300. Over that, I'd want a simple 2824-2 in a closed case back. Simple, but nice.
