Friends,

I strapped on my Accutron VX-200 this morning, you all know the watch.  I brought it in and set it to the 3T clock just to check on its accuracy.  I checked after 2 hours and the Accutron was already 15 seconds fast.  Applying some grade school math, 15 seconds in two hours translates into three minutes fast over a day.

One thing I noticed this morning, I wound this quite a bit and when I screwed in the crown the watch continued to click as if it was still winding...I hadn't heard this sound before.  My questions are:

1.  If I over-wound the watch will it run fast?

2.  If I over-wound the watch would that explain the clicking when I screwed in the crown?

3.  What would you do in my situation with this watch?

Thank you for your feedback.

Sincerely,

Erik
