That is one of the made in the US Beretta's I believe from looking at the dust cover. I would not suggest ever parting with that one O.
Some friends of mine turned me onto a spring assembly that is made by Wolff that will greatly improve the reliability of that one. Here is the link

The only upgrade other than grips that I would trust my life on.
Almost forgot CDNN has the sand resistant mag's for it for about $18 to $19 each, it may not be a bad thing to have on hand. They work better than all of the factory ones and it the blue base plate bothered you you could always just swap them out.
