A friend of mine in Spain who is also a watch nut sent me this amazing picture of a new watch released by the Richard Mille company. I have never heard of them before, does anyone here know about this brand? At the bottom near 6 o'clock it also says homage to Boucheron, never heard of them either, but I am no expert. It looks to me as if the wheels inside the watch are made of stones, maybe agate? Is such a thing possible?
He also said there was a new pocket watch by the same company, new for 2008. I think that is really cool that a new firm is making pocket watches again. Anyway, if anyone knows more about this, it would be great to hear about it.

Part of what you may be seeing is a "ramped-up" photo. Most likely this has been emblished with Photoshop to give the watch and "active" look. There are sapphires used at the friction points on the wheels and gears. Agate would be too soft for any of the inner workings.
