Love hockey. Being born and bread in Wisconsin I started playing at age 7 and finished at age 17. That's when I enrolled at Wisconsin, went to a Badger skate around and found though I was pretty good for my small town, I wasn't anywhere the skater or didn't have the size the REAL hockey players had.Pax, up until I was about 23 my friends and I would play. It wasn't any organized thing. We made our own goals using PVC and netting. We didnt use skates but we would beat the crap out of each other. My one buddies dad worked for AT&T at the time and they had a building up in the mountain with a big parking lot that wasnt used on the weekends. It would be nice and icy there. We had such blast, I really miss those days. Even though we were pretty rough on each other we all were still friends at the end. Oh, the good old days!
I did some reading today and the Johnstown Chiefs are an affiliate of the Boston Bruins and the Colorado Avalanche.
