What cracks me up is those who hear about a cold winter, or a lot of snow, and think it's an argument against global warming. I happen to think that global warming doesn't automatically mean that everyplace is going to be warmer all the time, but rather that more heat in a place that doesn't always get it will disrupt weather patterns, leading to higher snowfalls in some places, colder winters in others, or bigger hurricanes/tsunamis, etc.

JMHO.

OK pile on, I think Mark's got my back here smile8.gif

Well put, David. I'm not any tree hugging Al Gore lover by any means but I do think we as a race of creatures living on this planet are quite potentially hastening and influencing natural patterns. Of course, who cares? We'll all be dead by then!face4.gif
